Police launched an urgent search for a seven-year-old boy this afternoon after he went missing near a school.
Albi Reeves went missing at 3pm near his school, Red Hill Primary School, in Chislehurst, south east London.
But this evening police confirmed he had been found safe and well.
Bromley Police tweeted an appeal to find the primary school youngster from nearby Mottingham on Tuesday night.
He was wearing his school uniform at the time.
But Scotland Yard confirmed this evening the youngster had been located.
On Twitter, Bromley police tweeted: “We are pleased to confirm missing 7-year-old Albi Reeves has been found. Thanks for your retweets.”
A Bromley police spokesperson said earlier: “Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a 7-yr-old boy missing from Bromley.
“Albi Reeves was last seen near Red Hill Primary School, Chiselhurst shortly after 15.00hrs.
“Anyone who sees him is asked to call police on 101, quoting CAD 4744/17Nov.”
